Passion over
multiple generations.

Since 1899, our story has been deeply rooted. Our grandfather acquired Gasthof Stock, now known as Bergfriedalm. In 1953, Papa Franz and Mama Liesl built the first cottage, Bergfried. Year after year, it grew, with the milestone of the first indoor pool in Lanersbach in 1969. In 1984, my wife Marion joined Bergfried, and family planning and the future were redefined. Our continuous and sustainable development continues unabated, always creating new and beautiful things.

We are proud that we can realize ourselves here and are part of the Bergfried DNA. Passion, warmth, respect, and hospitality are ingrained in every member of the Bergfried team. Personal contact with guests and a sense of family are what’s most important to us. "It's the laughter in the world" that is sometimes missing.
