Bergfriedalm

The Bergfriedalm,
"our heart and soul."

Since 1899, the Bergfriedalm, formerly known as 'Gasthof Stock,' has been proudly owned by our family. Values such as home, warmth, and tradition were deeply embedded here from the start. Since reclaiming ownership in 2009, this alpine refuge has become a cherished treasure, a cultural gem, and a place where we take pride in hosting and bringing joy to our guests, fostering connections among people.". „Berg-Fried-Alm“

Authentic Tyrolean tavern culture, rustic and genuine

Nowhere else do pork knuckle and poacher's fondue taste as excellent as here! The variety is simply magnificent. Traditional Tyrolean dishes, delicately prepared: Zillertal home cooking, perhaps a 'Zillachtola Holzknechtkropf’n'? Or a hearty cheese fondue? The Alm Barbecue Table is also unique. And what shouldn't be missed? 'Suis Kaiserschmarren'. Enjoy your meal!

"Just imagine: My grandma Lisl learnt to cook here in the 1950s, in what was then the ‘Gasthof Stock’, and it was there that she got to know grandpa Franz, the ‘original from the Bergfried’. Today, I can enjoy genuine hospitality here. If that's not cool!’"

„Alm – Bar“ Après-ski & live music

One might also call it the hotel's party cellar. Located not at the top, but at the very bottom, is the Alm in Bergfried. It’s perfect for a genuine cabin evening and après-ski after a relaxing or sporty day. When the DJ or various live bands start to ramp up, the atmosphere literally goes through the roof—Hulapalu featuring Macarena... and as experience shows, it always extends into the late hours here.

"Music holds a paramount place in my life. It knows no boundaries. Music unites, bringing harmony, peace, and joy. That's why it is my greatest pleasure to spread music and good cheer with my friends, dressed in traditional lederhosen and playing the guitar. "It's the mood that matters, not the voice."

Culture & Surroundings "Best Moments"

We experience many unforgettable moments together. In the summer, the "Schuhplattler" dancers are regulars on the Alm terrace. In October and November, we enjoy Törggelen with culinary highlights. On January 5th, we celebrate one of the most significant Tuxer festivals: The Perchten parade through Lanersbach, and DJ Ötzi's "Hey Baby" provides the winter highlight in front of the Alm. Whether summer or winter, we always have great vibes and special experiences!

Seminars & Events at Bergfriedalm & Hotel

Even though seminars and conferences are not our primary focus, we have demonstrated through various events that we can successfully host them both in the cozy parlors of the Bergfriedalm and at the Tux Center, just a 5-minute walk away, with seating for up to 150 people. Additionally, our Bormeralm, situated at 1800 meters, offers an unforgettable setting for various incentive events.

We would be delighted to customize your event according to your wishes and ensure that your guests will talk about the occasion for a long time. Our various parlors—Geiervally, Weldstube, and Wilderer Stube—can accommodate up to 24 people each. The "Neue Stube" can host up to 70 people, and our Alm bar can accommodate up to 40 guests. For larger parties, we have successfully hosted events for up to 100 people.
