The Hochsteg Bridge also originates from the 19th century and spans the Zemm River. You will find a mountain inn situated directly at the reservoir – from there you must continue by foot… There is also a regular bus line that reaches Mayrhofen.

Zillertal Cable Railway

The Zillertal railway was built at a time when travelling by train was a real adventure. Nowadays there is still a special charm associated with riding on the nostalgic steam train.
