At 1.300 to 3.250 meters above sea level, you will find Tux – an idyllic highland plateau at the end of the Zillertal valley. This spot is one of the most exclusive destinations in the world. Stretching over 8 km it consists of 5 villages: Tux-Vorderlanersbach, Tux-Lanersbach, Juns, Madseit and Hintertux.
These typical Tyrolean villages at the foot of the Hintertux Glacier offer a natural and diverse paradise for the entire family – 365 days a year!
The Tuxer Sports/Trekking shuttle takes you from one village to the next free of charge. During the winter months, there is also a “Night-Liner” between the villages that will take you from one place to the next until 02:20 am!
