Bergfried is located in Tux - Lanersbach the main village in the Tux Valley. Inmidden of the Alps - its location is tranquil and yet central. It is the ideal starting point for a number of hiking and winter sport activities in the Tux Valley.

By car: Inntalautobahn (A12) - Exit at Zillertal, Bundesstrasse (B169) to Mayrhofen. Drive past Mayrhofen and turn right to Tux - Tuxertal, then follow the street until you reach Lanersbach. At the first intersection, turn right towards the church. Just after the church you will see the Holiday Residence Bergfried with our parking garage. After passing our Holiday Residence turn right and drive about 50 meters uphill and you will see the Aktiv- & Wellnesshotel Bergfried. “A Warm Welcome To You!”
By rail: Express train station Jenbach/Tyrol, Zillertal railway (rail or bus) to Mayrhofen, from there continue with the Postbus to Mayrhofen - Hintertux or call a taxi from the taxi company Taxi 1712 ++43 (0)5287 / 1712 or Taxi Amtshaus ++43 (0)5287 / 1718
